Competition Information

Monthly Competitions. Each Member is allowed two entries in each section. Small Prints, Mono Prints, Colour Prints, Electronically Displayed Tmages (EDI) and Freestyle EDI (bimonthly).

Competition Entry Fee

2012 Introduces a nominal annual fee to cover expenses of the visiting judge.

EDI

Make sure your images meet the following criteria for pixel size, file type, file size, file name format.

Pixel Size: 1024 pixels wide x 768 pixels high.

File Type: Jpeg

File Size: less than 500Kb File

Naming format: Rule B3.2.6  X-YYYYMM-Surname-GivenName-ImageTitle.JPG Where X = N for normal EDI or F= Freestyle EDI YYYY = Year MM = Month Surname = Your surname Given name = Your Given or Christian name

Image Title = The name of your image - this must match the title you place on the entry form and is limited to a maximum of 20 characters. (including spaces). Please note that the title MUST be included for an entry to be valid. The character "- " (hyphen) must be placed between each descriptors noted above.

*Please ensure that your entries are emailed and received by 7.00pm on the third Tuesday of the Month. NO EDI Entry will be accepted after this closing time. Entries should be sent to following email address only. photocomp@wollongongcameraclub.org.au

Important: If a member is not attending the competition night or only submitting EDI entries a copy of your entry form is to be forwarded with the images.

Prints

Prints shall be suitably mounted for Monochrome Prints and Colour Prints. For Small Prints mounts are optional.

There is no minimum or maximum size for Colour Prints or Monochrome Prints

Small Prints shall be no larger than 300 sq. cm (48 sq ins.). This dimension relates
to the image size only, where mounting for this classification is optional. ( 250mm x 200mm
Mount Max)

*The deadline for prints to be submitted for entry into that night's competition is 7.15 pm
